Day 1 - Travel via your preferred short sea crossing to your overnight accommodation in the Genk area.

Day 2 - Continue the journey to Zauchensee where you will be greeted with a welcome drink followed by dinner.

Day 3 - Salzkammergut (Lake District)
Experience the beauty of the province of Salzburgerland on today's trip to the scenic "Salzkammergut". Included today is a boat cruise on the famous Lake Wolfgang. Wander the famous lakeside town of St. Wolfgang. Time permitting, continue to Hallstatt, one of the most beautiful villages in Austria and one of the most famous scenes of this beautiful country.

Day 4 - Zell am See & Krimml Falls
After breakfast head to the picturesque lakeside resort of Zell am See - a popular holiday destination. Continue down the Salzach Valley, to the Tauern National Park where you will find the Krimml Waterfalls, the highest in Europe. A short walk through the park takes you to the base of these spectacular falls, where the water lands from a height of approximately 1250 feet.

Day 5 - Salzburgerland Farmers’ Market
One of the highlights of the "Bauernherbst" is definitely a visit to an original Salzburgerland Farmers' Market, which will show you the wide and varied rural culture of this province. Experience the world of the local farmer, who, as his father and his father's father before him, still works his farm using traditional methods. You may see how fruits are distilled into the traditional spirit or "Schnapps" and look out for the cows with headresses being led down the mountains. Everything you see is authentic and has not been reconstructed for tourists.

Day 6 - Salzburgerland "Bauernherbst"
This morning visit the Salzburg Open Air Museum, where 60 original farmhouses have been carefully reconstructed and demonstrations from local trades people take place, which include carpentry, beekeeping and weaving. This museum offers an insight into the traditional rural life in Austria. There may be more local markets to visit too, but you will be advise of that just before the tour departs.

Day 7 - Sadly it’s time to depart your Austrian resort to travel to your overnight stay in the Liège / Genk area.

Day 8 - Complete the journey to the UK via short sea crossing from Calais.
