Day 1 - Depart UK travelling to the Aachen /Liège area for your overnight stay.
Day 2 - Continue the journey to the Lifthotel in Kirchberg where you will be greeted with a welcome drink, followed by dinner.
Day 3 - Kitzbühel Alps
Morning at leisure in resort, followed by a circular trip through the Kitzbühel
Alps stopping in the village of Ellmau, which lies opposite the spectacular "Wilder
Kaiser" or Wild Emperor Mountains.
Ascend the mountains via the Hartkaiser Funicular Railway; the views will take
your breath away! Visit the famous resort of Kitzbühel wandering past the
gabled buildings, ancient arches and fashionable designer boutiques.
Day 4 - Salzburg
The Mozart capital of the world and of course home to the ever popular film, "The
Sound of Music". Your guided walking tour of the
city will show you the highlights and include a visit to the Mozart Museum,
the building in which the composer was born. Stroll along the famous shopping
street of Getreidegasse, bordered by elegant old houses and medieval arcades.
After dinner, take the coach to a nearby resort for a Tyrolean Folklore Evening,
where you will even have the opportunity to learn how to yodel!
Day 5 - Zell am
See
The highlight today is a scenic trip through the dramatic Tyrolean countryside
to the popular lakeside resort of Zell am See lying in the neighbouring province
of Salzburgerland. Explore the medieval town centre before taking your included
boat cruise on Lake Zell. Return afterwards to Kirchberg for dinner.
Day 6 - Krimml
Waterfalls
After a relaxing morning, travel towards the Hohe Tauern National
Park to visit the Krimml Waterfalls, the highest in Europe. The base of these
spectacular falls is reached by a short walk through the park, where the water
cascades from a height of approximately 1250 feet. Return to your hotel for
dinner for this, your final evening in Kirchberg.
Day 7 - Depart the hotel and travel to Aachen / Liège for your return overnight stay.
Day 8 - Complete the journey to the UK via short sea crossing from Calais.
