Sandringham HouseEngland

Golden Age of Steam (Set #1)

Rivers, Rail & Royalty

Norfolk is always a popular destination and with such a wide variety of things to see and do it's easy to see why. There's everything from relaxing peaceful waterways & villages to the glorious gardens and scenery. One of the highlights of this short break is a trip on the Bure Valley Steam Railway which runs along nine miles of former British Railways branch line and links the historic market town of Aylsham with Wroxham in the Heart of the Broads.
Another popular inclusion is Sandringham House. Built in 1870 by the Prince and Princess of Wales, later to become King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, Sandringham has been described as 'the most comfortable house in England' and is now the country retreat of HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. It's a friendly and informal place to visit with guides in every room ready to talk to visitors.
