This tour brings to life the history of the North East. From the Beamish Museum with the story of the people of the area at two distinct points in history, 1825 and 1913, to the early 20th century. We've also included a guided tour of 'Catherine Cookson Country' which gives an insight into the lives of the many characters who feature in the famous novelist's work, and allowed time for a visit to Durham.
