Suggested Itinerary for Blenheim Palace and Oxford

Day 1 - Arrive at the hotel, which is your base for the weekend.

Day 2 - Oxford and Inspector Morse
After a leisurely breakfast join the coach for the journey into Oxford where you spend the day; plenty of time for sightseeing and shopping both in the morning and perhaps later in the afternoon, although we have included a walking tour of Oxford following in the footsteps of the great detective Inspector Morse; you can drink in the same pubs and if you’re not careful, feel the breath of Chief Superintendent Strange down your neck! The tour lasts about 2 hours leaving you time for lunch before it gets under way at just after 1.30 p.m.

Day 3 - Blenheim Palace
After breakfast depart for the journey home where on the way we’ve included a visit to Blenheim Palace, built for the first Duke of Marlborough, in gratitude for the great victory at Blindheim, a village in Bavaria, where you'll have the opportunity to see the room where Churchill was born. Visit the grounds of Blenheim Palace with its lakes spanned by stone bridges, woodlands, and follies and of course the Marlborough Maze, the world's largest hedge maze. There also a lot more to see - Butterfly House, Motor Launch, Adventure Area and Nature Trail, even a train, and the town of Woodstock at the gates of Blenheim, has old coaching inns and lots of interesting shops.
