Day 1 - Travel to hotel, the base for this short break.
Day 2 - Sandown
Free day
in Sandown, one of the few towns to have retained its
pier, it also has gently sloping sandy beaches that are safe for bathing along
with lots more.
Day 3 - Osborne House & West Cowes
After breakfast make the
short trip to
Osborne House, a favourite destination of Queen Victoria, for a guided tour
of the house which now comprises several wings, apartments and
buildings. You can then spend the afternoon visiting West Cowes, famous
for its Yachts and fashion before returning to the hotel in time for dinner.
Day
4 - Shanklin & Ventnor
Leave the hotel for a full day Island tour starting
at
Shanklin, the ancient village with charming thatched cottages. You then
travel on via Ventnor to the multi-coloured cliffs of Alum Bay and the
Needles before returning to the hotel in time for dinner.
Day 5 - Depart for the return journey home.
