Now in it's second year, our Parks & Palaces short break is already proving popular. It incorporates visits to Waddesdon Manor, built as a Renaissance-style château on a hilltop overlooking the Vale of Aylesbury and completed in 1889, it is the last remaining example of 'le style Rothschild' and has one of the best collections of French 18th century decorative arts in the world. There's also a visit to Savill Gardens, located in the south east corner of Windsor Great Park, began in 1932 under the auspices of King George V the initial stream side plantings below the Temperate House have become one of the world's finest woodland gardens and an oasis of beauty and tranquility.
