Suggested Itinerary for Medieval Normandy

Lower Normandy Suggested Itinerary:

Day 1 - Travel via short sea crossing to Caen.

Day 2 - Visit Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville. These charming towns impress tourists and artists alike. Stroll the promenades and people-watch from one of the maritime restaurants.

Day 3 - Visit the Normandy beaches in the morning, stopping in Arromanches or the Pegasus Bridge Museum and spend the afternoon in nearby Bayeux (included visit to the tapestry).

Day 4 - Depart the hotel for Calais and the journey home.

Upper Normandy Suggested Itinerary:

Day 1 - Travel via short sea crossing to the Novotel Rouen Sud.

Day 2 - This morning visit the world famous Monet Gardens at Giverny. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure in Rouen.

Day 3 - Visit Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville. These charming towns impress tourists and artists alike. Stroll the promenades and people- watch from one of the maritime restaurants. Continue to Fécamp for a fascinating tour of the beautiful Benedictine Palace, which includes a tasting of their famous liqueur.

Day 4 - Depart the hotel to Calais for the return crossing to the UK.
