Vibrant Berlin

Since reunification in 1990 Berlin is once again transformed into Germany’s vibrant capital. There is a tangible energy about the city; its lively nightlife, museums, art galleries and theatre scene are second to none. The last decade has taken Berlin through a frenzy of rebuilding and a totally new city is emerging around the monuments and palaces that survived a tumultuous past. Yet amidst the new glass and steel skyscrapers and freshly painted houses, look carefully and you will still see buildings pock-marked with bullet holes from World War II.
