Day 1 - Depart via your preferred sea crossing to your overnight stay on the Dutch / German border.
Day 2 - Continue the journey to Berlin.
Day 3 - Berlin
Enjoy a fascinating guided city tour of the city's main
tourist attractions including the Brandenburg Gate and Unter den Linden, resuming
its pre-war role as the city's principal thoroughfare. Afterwards you will
embark on a boat cruise in the centre of the city to view the sights from the
water.
Day 4 - Berlin
Today is at leisure in Berlin. Visit independently the sights
you were shown on the tour, such as the prestigious boulevard of 'Kurfürstendamn'
headed by Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Victory Column and impressive “Reichstag”,
Germany's parliament building. Or maybe visit the Nikolai Quarter, Checkpoint
Charlie and the shining glass facades of the Potsdamer Platz area in the heart
of Berlin's so called 'New Middle'.
Day 5 - Potsdam & Prussian Palaces
Depart
for Potsdam en route visiting the Haus der Wannsee-Konferenz, where the Nazis
planned and agreed on the 'final solution to the Jewish problem'. Then enjoy
a guided tour through Potsdam including the famous 'Dutch Quarter', Russian
Colony Alexandrowka and the Villa districts. Continue to Sanssouci Palace and
a stroll through the park, the Chinese Teahouse Towers, Roman Baths, Charlottenhof
Palace and Belvedere Towers.
Day 6 - Depart Berlin for the overnight bed and buffet breakfast accommodation on the Dutch / German border.
Day 7 - Complete the journey to the UK from Calais.
