Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of The Queen and serves both as home and office. New for 2010 and located on the Palace’s West Terrace during the summer opening season, visitors can relax and take time to enjoy the views over the famous 42-acre garden, an oasis for wildlife.

Just a short trip along the Mall is Clarence House, standing beside St James's Palace, it was built to the designs of John Nash for Prince William Henry, Duke of Clarence, who resided there as King William IV. Now the Prince of Wales official London residence, it was formerly the London home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother from 1953 until her death in 2002.
