Day 1 - Travel via short sea crossing to your hotel in Warder, just north of Amsterdam.
Day 2 - Volendam, Edam and Monnickendam
After breakfast a guide will accompany you by coach round the picturesque towns of the area, including Volendam, Edam and Monnickendam. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 3 - Amsterdam
Drive this morning to Amsterdam, giving free time in the morning to discover this exciting city. Stroll the bridges and canals, stopping at some of the famous sights, such as Ann Frank's House or the Rijksmuseum. After lunch meet at the Centraal Station for a boat trip and view the city from the water. Afterwards we have included a visit to a diamond factory.
Day 4 - Cheese, clogs, Zuiderzeemuseum
This morning visit a local cheese farm and clog factory. Afterwards you head to the Zuiderzeemuseum, where you learn about the area with emphasis on how the country is protected by its dykes and dams. There are restaurants and a pub in this very attractive site.
Day 5 - Depart this morning and head to Aalmseer cheese market before continuing home via short sea crossing. Please note that the cheese market must be visited this morning as it is only open on Fridays between 10:00hrs and 12:30hrs.
