Zakopane and Krakow

There has never been a better time to visit Poland. Recent entry into the European Union means the infrastructure is constantly improving and tours are still very reasonably priced. Characteristics include stunning coastal and forest views and cities with architecture reminiscent of Prague, but without the hordes of tourists. Every excursion in our Polish section is guided and together with the huge number of inclusions, we ensure that what will be a first time visit for many will also be an unforgettable one.

Bustling Zakopane is an up and coming resort in the pine valley beside the Tatra Mountains. During the winter it is a ski resort, but visitors are attracted here during the summer by the hot temperatures and the idyllic mountain setting. Charming Krakow is perhaps Poland’s most beautiful city, with a host of churches, towers and a huge castle. Cafés and bars are located not only all round the attractive main square and along the narrow streets that lead from it, but are also hidden behind pretty arches and at the bottom of stairways in former cellars.

Tour Highlights: Guided walking tour of Krakow, Wieliczka Salt Mines and a river raft trip through the dramatic Dunajec gorge.
