Switzerland
Gruyère – land of chocolate and cheese!
As you drive around green rolling hills of the
Gruyère region you may spy small turrets popping out of hidden
valleys where rivers that lead to one of the many lakes in the region
trickle quietly by. The most famous of these lakes is Lake Léman,
on which the exclusive cities of Geneva and Montreux reside. Look out
also for the dairy cows on the mountains, the bells around their necks
gently clanging as they graze the lush mountainsides. They are an indication
of what makes this region so famous: its milk chocolate and cheese!
