Suggested Itinerary for Scenic Scotland

Day 1 - Ceilidh evening at the hotel
Your journey North takes you through Perth, the former capital of Scotland and on to the picturesque town of Dunkeld and the Hilton Dunkeld House Hotel. Be sure to arrive in good time as following dinner this evening there is a live Ceilidh band to entertain you and kick start your holiday in true 'Scottish style'.

Day 2 - Pitlochry & Blair Castle
Today starts with a visit to Pitlochry with the morning free for you to explore the town before you make the short journey on to Blair Castle where lunch (not included) can be taken in the Tullibardine restaurant before you make your way around this stunning Castle. It has been the home of the Atholl family until only recently and there are 30 fully furnished rooms on show. Blair Castle also plays home to the 'Atholl Highlanders' Europe's only remaining private army.

Day 3 - Dundee & Captain Scott’s ship ‘Discovery’
A full days excursion to Dundee and Discovery point, where you visit the award winning exhibition setting out the history of how the ship was built before going on board to see first hand how they lived and worked on board. The rest of the day is then free to explore the city of Dundee, a modern and vibrant city with a rich history and proud traditions.

Day 4 - Glamis Castle
Today you make your way from Dunkeld via Blairgowrie with its famous Meikleour beech hedge to Glamis Castle. The castle has been a Royal residence since the 14th century and was the childhood home of the late Queen Mother. This imposing castle has many sumptuous rooms with furniture, pictures and tapestries and your tour includes a visit to the Royal apartments. Glamis also has extensive grounds, which are well worth seeing before returning to your hotel in time for dinner.

Day 5 - Depart and head for home.
