The first part of this two-centre, 11-night holiday is based in the Salzkammergut (Lake District) which boasts classic Alpine scenery, some of the most beautiful in all of Austria; we also take the opportunity to visit the fairytale city of Salzburg for a guided walking tour. In the latter half of our tour the ancient lakeside town of Bled (or as it is often referred to ‘the Garden of Eden’) with its serene mountain and lake landscapes is an undisputed highlight.
