Suggested Itinerary for Lake Lucerne and Mount Pilatus

Day 1 - Drive via short sea crossing to your overnight stay in Reims or Liège.

Day 2 - Continue your journey to Switzerland, arriving in Weggis this evening.

Day 3 - Lake Lucerne
Today is at leisure in resort. Perhaps take the cable car to the mountain peak that sits just behind Weggis. Besides astounding views from the top you will find a restaurant and some walking paths.

Day 4 - Lucerne
Today you will enjoy a boat cruise to Lucerne. The boat departs from right outside the hotel and drops you in the centre of the Lucerne. Discover the medieval old town with its colourful frescoed facades and also the two beautiful covered wooden bridges that cross the River Reuss. At the end of the afternoon board the boat for the return journey to your hotel.

Day 5 - Grindelwald or the Jungfrau Railway
Today you will be amazed at the constant stunning scenery from the start to finish of your day. Drive past lakes and over mountains to Interlaken and then climb into the mountains to Grindelwald, where you will find an idyllic resort with fantastic lush mountain and valley views in all directions. It is possible to enjoy many walks and cable car journeys from here. It is also possible to go up into the Jungfrau Mountain range by train to Kleine Scheidegg where the train stops and you can enjoy some lunch and a walk with views of the Eiger and Jungfrau, before descending on another train, which takes you past more incredible views of mountains and waterfalls to Lauterbrunnen. Day 6 - Mount Pilatus
Today is a tour highlight, when you will take the cogwheel railway up to the top of Mount Pilatus. Steeped in legend and tradition this mountain affords incredible views of the lake below and mountain range.

Day 7 - Depart your hotel and drive to your overnight stay in Reims or Liège.

Day 8 - Continue the journey home via short sea crossing from Calais.
