Day 1 - Travel to hotel, the base for this holiday.
Day 2 - Isle of Anglesey
After
breakfast you head off first into Caernarfon, the ceremonial capital of Wales
with its castle dating back to the 13th century. From here you journey on to
the beautiful Isle of Anglesey crossing the Menai Bridge to visit the historic
town of Beaumaris and Llanfair P.G. before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Day
3 - Bodnant Garden & Betws-y-Coed
Today starts with a mornings excursion
to Bodnant Garden, one of the world’s most spectacular gardens, situated
above the River Conwy with stunning views across Snowdonia. It has huge Italianate
terraces and formal lawns. From here, you journey on to the pretty village of
Betws-y-Coed located near the Swallow Falls. You then continue your journey over
the spectacular Llanberis pass back to the town of Llanberis and your hotel in
time for dinner.
Day 4 - Portmeirion & Blaenau Ffestiniog Railway
A full days
excursion starting with a visit to Porthmadog and its bustling harbour before
you travel on to Portmeirion and its wide variety of building styles that surround
the central piazza. Following this there’s a ride on the Blaenau Ffestiniog
railway from Minfford, through the tranquil pastures and magnificent forests
to Blaenau Ffestiniog where you rejoin the coach for your return trip to the
hotel travelling through the sleepy village of Beddgelert, situated amongst
the mountains of Snowdonia.
Day 5 - Depart for the return journey home.
